A three-day workshop titled Language Documentation: Techniques and Technologies was held from 19–21 February 2024 at IIT Indore, in academic collaboration with the Endangered Languages Documentation Programme (ELDP). The workshop brought together leading experts to explore advanced methods and tools in language documentation. Designed for linguists, early-career researchers, language activists, and community members, the event integrated lectures with hands-on training to build capacity in documenting and revitalising endangered languages. It reflected the JPN Centre’s ongoing commitment to preserving linguistic diversity and cultural heritage.
