Held from 27 to 30 November 2024, the Spatial Econometrics Workshop and PhD Colloquium was jointly organised by the Centre and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. It brought together researchers and PhD scholars from statistics, geography, and development studies, and featured a keynote by Prof. Anil Bera (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign). The workshop included training in spatial econometrics, geodesy, and R Studio-based modelling, and showcased student paper presentations, with awards for top submissions.
