The JPN Centre, in collaboration with the Office of International Affairs, IIT Indore, organised a two-day international workshop titled Digital Humanities and Infrastructures: Tools, Archives & Theory on 18–19 September 2024. The event brought together scholars from institutions including the University of Oxford, Edith Cowan University, Freie Universität Berlin, Heidelberg University, IIT Patna, and FLAME University, Pune. Discussions focused on the evolving landscape of Digital Humanities and critical infrastructures, highlighting new methodologies, digital tools, and the challenges of integrating computational approaches into traditional humanities research. The workshop reinforced the Centre’s commitment to fostering globally engaged, critically informed scholarship in the digital humanities.
