PIs of JPN Funded projects with Prof. Suhas S Joshi, Director, IIT Indore and Prof. Paul Arthur, Edith Cowan University
The Centre organised a one-day Research Project Symposium on 4 April 2025, highlighting ongoing and completed Digital Humanities and Environmental Humanities projects funded under its research programme. Featuring dynamic formats such as Flash Talks and Hackathon-style Demos, the symposium enabled Principal Investigators (PIs) to present key insights, achievements, and challenges from their work. It fostered interdisciplinary dialogue, bringing together scholars, technologists, and environmental researchers to address pressing socio-cultural and ecological questions. Sessions foregrounded collaborative methodologies, ethical frameworks, and sustainable practices in humanities research. The symposium was anchored by a keynote address from Professor Paul Arthur (Edith Cowan University), which framed the discussions within a global context of digital scholarship and infrastructure building.
